BudgetPro: Vanderbilt School of Medicine's online budgeting system. 

Business Objects: Business Objects (BO) is an integerated query, reporting and analysis tool that allows you to access data in VU's corporate databases.

CDS: Conflict Disclosure System. A web-based system where staff annually submits their Conflict of Interest Disclosure.

COEUS: A grant pre-award system.

COI: Conflict of Interest.

CRIS: Comprehensive Rate Information System. Software for the Indirect Cost Proposal (F&A Rate).

eBudget: VU's on-line budgeting system.

eDog: Electronic Distribution of the General ledger. Provides on-line acces to general ledger reports and data.

elevate: Term attached to Vanderbilt Medical Center's initiative to becoming one of the best academic medical centers.

EAP: Employee Assistance Program.

EDC: Electronic Distribution Change (see ePac).

ePac: Electronic Personnel Action Change system.

ePassword: The Password used in conjunction with your VUNetID to access almost all Vanderbilt computer systems.

Epic: Physician billing, appointment and registration system.

eProcurement: On-line requisition and ordering system.

EWF: The Enterprise Wide Functions area within the Department of Finance. This area includes Medical Center Demand Checks, Consolidated Medical Center Financial Reporting, Vanderbilt Health Services, Medical Center Administration & Auxiliaries, as well as Medical Payroll.

Privilege Management (PM): System used to grant access to many of the applications used throughout the Financial, Procurement, and Human Resources area. In addition, it can be used to view privileges for these applications or look up other people's privileges to answer questions like, "who can sign this form?"

Shuttle Route/Purple Route:
Route for the Vanderbilt Shuttle service that takes staff from Crystal Terrace to other Medical Center locations.

SOM: School of Medicine.

SON: School of Nursing.

Star: Security Tool for Assigning Roles. Replaced by Privilege Management.

StarChart: A distributed system for viewing complete VUMC patient records.

StarPanel: Web-based application that allows access to electronic clinical information for multiple patients.

Sumto: A summary center (Sumto) is used to accumulate information of low-level centers at various levels within the system for reporting purposes. Each summary center is identified with a six position alphanumeric name. The three most common types of summary centers are for departments, divisions, and type of fund.
