All CPAs (Certified
Public Accountants) who wish to maintain an active CPA license
in Tennessee must obtain a required number of CPE (certified public education)

University or
college courses and in-house employee training which contribute directly
to the professional competence of the permit/certificate holder are deemed
qualifying programs for CPE by the State Board of Accountancy Rules for

How to Get CPE for Vanderbilt-Sponsored Classes
If you are a CPA
and have attended a Vanderbilt-sponsored in-house training course, you
may be eligible to receive CPE certification for that class. You must
be able to provide: class title, class dates, and class times. To obtain
