What We Do:
Maintain EPIC system through master file maintenance, testing, trouble-shooting;
Design, develop and implement new functionality as necessary to improve workflow
(patient workqueues, charge review workqueues, etc.); Provide EPIC training
for Resolute users; Create online training tutorials for users; and Issue security
for Medipac and EPIC.
The Epic Support Team is comprised of Computer Systems Analysts and Operations Systems
Trainers. We work closely with staff in Information Management to develop projects
that provide enhancements to the Epic system, to test and implement new releases
of Epic, and to test the impact on Epic of changes to other VUMC systems. We provide
daily on-call support to assist users with questions and troubleshoot problems in
addition to ensuring the regular maintenance of the Epic master files.
