Following are the types of programs through which Vanderbilt obtains reimbursement:

Various profit and loss analyses are completed throughout the year to monitor payment levels by third party payors. Proposed legislative changes at the Federal (Medicare and Champus) and State (TennCare) level are also monitored and analyzed to assess the financial impact of such changes.
